Salem Concert Band brings you creative programming of beautiful music through outstanding performances in the tradition of John Philip Sousa. Our audiences enjoy the best of traditional band literature, orchestral transcriptions, great marches, and the newest literature available for winds and percussion. We are proud to celebrate these traditions in the Historic Elsinore Theater at home in Oregon’s capital city, Salem. We encourage you to become a part of the Salem Concert Band family! Gifts in honor of a loved one or in their memory

Salem Concert Band accepts gifts in memory of the ones you love, or in honor of someone dear to you. Memoriam and Honor Gifts are meaningful ways to recognize and honor loved ones while also supporting live band music in Salem.

Salem Concert Band is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization

Your donation to Salem Concert Band may qualify you for a deduction in your taxes. The tax deductible contribution can be for any amount. Check with your tax advisor or CPA to see what is advised for your budget. We are a partner with the Oregon Cultural Trust. Matching donations to the Cultural Trust of up to $500 for individuals, $1000 for couples and $2500 for C-corporations are eligible for a tax credit.

Salem Concert Band invests in new literature

Our members donate their time for rehearsals, performances and operation of the band, and pay annual dues to cover a portion of our operational expenses. We have invested heavily in projects to improve the acoustics and equipment of our home, the Historic Elsinore Theater. Proceeds from our ticket sales cover only a portion of our expenses. We rely on the generous contributions from our supporters to allow us to continue to bring great performances to the citizens of Salem and the surrounding areas.

Salem Concert Band invests in future audiences

Salem Concert Band has offered free tickets to school-aged students when accompanied by an adult. We are dedicated to making our concerts affordable for families. We encourage audience members of all ages to connect with the heritage of band music in America.

The downturn in the economy has affected all segments of our society. It has been especially hard on Arts groups who depend on donors to remain solvent. Recent Salem Concert Band seasons have been operating at a deficit. We need your support to keep the magic flowing.
